UK Death Rate

I see that the UK death rate is at an all-time low which means that fewer people are dying each year than ever before. Many people see this as great news. These people are idiots.
In the media this fall in the death rate is being reported as a positive outcome from the advances that have been made in medical science over the past 30 years or so, but when have the media ever been right about anything.
Think about it. Fewer people dying means more people living. And that is definitely not a good thing. More people living doesn’t mean more young people. It doesn’t mean more people in the prime of their life, working and paying their taxes or more people having a good time. It means more old people pissing and shitting themselves on the bus. It means more old people clogging up hospital beds because there’s nowhere else for them to go. And it means more old people boring the rest of us rigid with their stories about how good it was in their day.
What we need is another pandemic.
